Acer Switch 10

I have used a lot of laptops, and I have used a lot of tablets but the Acer Switch 10 is something different. The Switch is both a laptop and a tablet. It is a tablet when you want to play games and it is a laptop when you need to get some work done. The Acer Switch has a detachable keyboard which is sturdy when attached but easy to remove.

LG G Watch: Android Wear Review

Personally I am a huge fan of Android, I have been a user for some time and I have even developed several apps which are being used by more than 50,000 users total. It should come as no surprise that when Google first Announced Android Wear I was excited and when everybody at Google IO 2014 (which I didn’t win a ticket to!) received a device I was jealous. I finally got my hands on the LG G Watch, in my opinion the nicest looking of the first 3 Android Wear watches.

Raspberry Pi B Plus Review

I am a big fan of the Raspberry Pi, I have used several different versions including the Model A, and B. I have also been using the Banana Pi, a board build from the Raspberry Pi with beefed up hardware. Today a package arrived at my apartment and inside was the new Raspberry Pi Model B+. First impressions of the board are nice, and some of the improvements are exciting and some of the improvements lead me to believe there might be a Raspberry Pi 2 in the near future.

Firefox Keon Developer Preview

The Keon is the developer preview device for Mozilla’s new mobile operating system Firefox OS. This phone is a small reference device similar to the ZTE Open and the Firefox Flame with lower end specs and a small profile. The Keon is manufactured by Geeksphone and is intended for developers, generally not regular consumers.

Firefox Flame Review

The Firefox Flame is Mozilla’s newest and in my opinion most exciting phone that is hitting the market this year. The Flame is their new reference standard phone which makes it similar to Google’s Nexus line for Android. The Flame to me is refreshing because it is the first phone that I have personally used that I would consider an every day phone.I have in my arsenal the ZTE Open, Geeksphone KEON and now the Firefox Flame and I have to say the Flame really is going to be a nice reference.
